Understanding and Undoing Implicit Bias Deep Dive Workshops

This workshop is a safe space for ACS staff to discuss their thoughts on content from the Understanding and Undoing Implicit Bias eLearning course. All are welcome to this open discourse on practice strategies to reduce implicit biases in order to enhance equitable decision-making. During this workshop, learners will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of discussions, activities and practice sessions. Before attending this instructor-led training, learners must complete all course prerequisites listed below.

Course Benefits

Learners will:

  • Discuss how their implicit biases manifest.
  • Discuss how implicit biases influence feelings about self and others.
  • Formulate personal strategies for addressing individual implicit biases.

 

Course Prerequisites

Prior to attending this course, learners are required to have completed the Understanding and Undoing Implicit Bias learning eLearning program.

 

Course Components

Once enrolled in the course, learners will complete a 90-minute, instructor-led workshop.
