About Partnering for Success (PfS): Coaching to Fidelity Collaboratives

The PfS Coaching to Fidelity Collaboratives are workshops that follow the Building Coaching Competency (BCC) Collaborative model and are designed to support supervisors as they integrate coaching into their PfS supervisory practice. In this highly interactive two-hour workshop, Foster Care Supervisors will get the opportunity to discuss successes and challenges faced while supporting staff to infuse PfS knowledge and skills into their daily casework practice.

The course is being offered by the Workforce Institute in collaboration with the Division of Preventive Services (DPS).

Who Should Attend?

This program is designed for Foster Care Supervisors who supervise Child Welfare Staff in the Partnering for Success (PfS) framework of practice.

Benefits of the Program

Partnering for Success Coaching Collaboratives were specifically created to support supervisors who supervise Child Welfare Staff in the Partnering for Success (PfS) framework of practice. The workshop will give supervisors the opportunity to:

  • Increase confidence in using the coaching skills to support the implementation of PfS within their agencies.
  • Create a coaching community of Foster Care Supervisors and Managers.
  • Bolster individual’s commitment to support PfS practice by using the coach approach.

Course Prerequisites

Prior to attending this course, learners are required to have completed:

  • The Building Coaching Competency learning program offered through the ACS Workforce Institute.
  • The PfS 3-day training offered through the ACS Workforce Institute.

Course Components

Once enrolled in the course, learners will complete:

  • An interactive, two-hour instructor led workshop.

Completion of all components is necessary to receive a Certificate of Completion.
