A Learning Program for NYC Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Professionals
The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is committed to providing all youth and families served both by ACS and our contract provider agencies a safe, healthy, inclusive, affirming and discrimination-free environment. This includes any child, youth or family member receiving services from ACS divisions including Protective, Prevention, Foster Care, Juvenile Justice Placement, Detention or Alternative to Detention (ATD) and Alternative to Placement (ATP) settings, who identifies or is perceived to be lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ).
This course is required for all direct service staff and supervisors in Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice.
