FTC Management Review Process

This eLearning program provides an opportunity for learners to receive additional input from ACS and provider agency administrative staff on critical decisions. This eLearning program describes the decision-making process in Family Team Conferences. The program details the circumstances and timing around when a management review is initiated, who is involved and the steps in the review process. This training also provides clarity about the facilitator’s role and identifies key skills to be applied in the multi-step review process.

 

Who Should Attend?

FTC facilitators working in ACS or provider agencies.

 

Course Benefits

Learners will:

  • Recognize how the conference process supports decision-making around safety and risk.
  • Be trained to identify and apply knowledge of factors associated with child safety, risk and protective capacity to case-level decision making to achieve safety, placement stability, permanency and well-being.
  • Be trained how to help family members, Child Welfare staff and other learners understand the management review process.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

 

Course Components

Once enrolled in the course, learners will complete a 30-minute eLearning course. Completion of all components is necessary to receive a Certificate of Completion.
