Caring for Our Own is an educational group support program for kinship caregivers. Through nine meetings, kinship caregivers are provided with information about services and resources, receive support from other caregivers, develop ongoing support networks, build skills to better parent the child(ren) in their homes, and learn to manage and enhance their relationships with birth parents and agencies.

This course is designed for Foster care and adoptive caseworkers, supervisors, homefinders, Directors of Social Services, and agency administrators in ACS Provider Agencies that are interested in facilitating these nine sessions for kinship caregivers.
