A Learning Program for NYC Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Professionals
This virtual course will consist of a combination of eLearning modules and virtual synchronous sessions. Learners will first complete a 30-minute eLearning module introducing them to the coaching skills, the coaching process, and the coaching mindset. Learners will then participate in two 90-minute Instructor-led virtual sessions. The first will support learners in understanding the steps to successful coaching and how to apply coaching skills in in their supervisory role. The second will use simulations to help learners identify the coaching skills and recognize how to practically incorporate coaching into their everyday work.
This course is designed for all Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice supervisors and managers or anyone who has the responsibility to guide and continually improve the performance of direct service staff.
