About Advanced Coaching Program Phase II: Interactive eLearning Experience

The Advanced Coaching Program: Phase II eLearn is an interactive experience that allows participants to watch videos that demonstrate best-case practice coaching scenarios. Participants are able to self-assess their understanding of the Coaching Skills and Coaching Process by answering a series of knowledge based and immersive questions. The 2-hour eLearn is self-paced which allows participants to review and reflect on the Coaching scenarios and the skills demonstrated within them.

Who Should Attend?

Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Supervisors and Managers who have attended the two-day Building Coaching Competency learning program, attended at least one Coaching Collaborative and completed all components of Advanced Coaching Phase I: Skill Refresher series.

Benefits of the Program

Participants will:

  • Deepen their understanding of the Coaching Process by watching best-case practice examples and gain practice through immersive experiences.
  • Self-assess their understanding of the Coaching Skills and how they are used in the Coaching Process.
  • Self-identify areas of strength and/or development in utilizing the Coaching Skills and Coaching Process to better support their professional development.

Course Prerequisites

Prior to attending this course, learners are required to have completed:

  • The Building Coaching Competency learning program offered through the ACS Workforce Institute.
  • At least one Coaching Collaborative offered through the ACS Workforce Institute
  • All components of the Advanced Coaching Program Phase I: Skill Refresher Series:
    • Accountability
    • Feedback
    • Presence & Listening
    • Questioning
    • Reflecting & Clarifying

Course Components

Once enrolled in the course, learners will complete:

  • An online course.

Completion of all components is necessary to receive a Certificate of Completion.
